Every year The Edge Volleyball takes on the challenge to raise money and awareness for the Karen Dove Cabral Foundation in Glenview, IL. The foundation is dedicated to helping support young mothers with breast cancer as they go through the daily challenges of juggling their treatment with their "real lives."

Breast Cancer Awareness Event
During the month of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) The Edge Volleyball Club hosts a Breast Cancer Awareness Event. During the event, Breast Cancer Awareness shirts, bracelets, stickers, and other accessories are available for sale. All proceeds of these sales go to the Karen Dove Cabral Foundation. The event is filled with a plethora of in-house team competitions. Teams will participte in relay races, skills challenges, memory games, and much more while raising awareness and money for a wonderful cause. Our athletes come decked out in pink gear to show their support in every way possible!

How the Foundation Helps
The Foundation provides financial assistance to financially challenged young women with breast cancer. They strive to provide access to daily unmet needs such as integrative medicine, pain medications, childcare, oral chemo, housekeeping, meals, or hotel and travel expenses. The Karen Dove Cabral Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for young breast cancer patients in need, and enable them to live each day to the fullest.

How can you help?
During October, The Edge Volleyball Club accepts donations for our Breast Cancer Awareness Event. These donations are presented to The Karen Dove Cabral Foundation after our Breast Cancer Awareness Volleyball event.
